Flexibility

I think one of my biggest weaknesses in all of sports is flexibility. No matter how hard I try (and when I try it hurts OUCH!), I can not touch past my toes. Have you had to do the sit'n'reach test in school? That board really hurts.

My coaches always say that flexibility is really important. But it seems to me like running fast and having good skills is even more important. What do you think? How important is flexibility?

Are you flexible? Can you touch your toes? Can you wrap yourself up like a pretzel? Ha ha. I would like to eat a pretzel right NOW! Mmmmmm. Pretzels. What do you think is the most important sports characteristic? or attribute that will make you the best? Please write in!!! Thank you!

once i had a very bad accendent i fell and did the splits off a huge tire swing! it took me years to get flexible again but i did! YAY! - Sasha
