Sumo Wrestlers

I just saw an instructional video on Sumo Wrestling on TV. It was very interesting and I learned a lot about the sport from Japan. It's funny because those big enormous guys are treated like royalty in Japan. They have special schools where their whole job is to eat food and get big and be strong wrestlers.

I wasn't exactly sure how it all worked, but it seemed cool. Then my brothers and I put pillows in our shirts and tried to sumo wrestling. Let me tell you- running at your brother from across the room hurts- even if you have pillows in your belly. Ha ha, but it was still a lot of fun.

Apparently sumo wrestlers are really flexible too. Very interesting. Maybe flexibility is super important.

So now, one of my new goals is to go to a sumo exhibition. I think it would be very fun. Have you ever gone to any exotic or really interesting sporting events? Would you like to try to be a sumo wrestler?
